Case Study: Alexa Skills Consumer Marketing

During my time as Art Director for the Amazon Alexa Skills team, I led creative efforts across major product launches, marketing campaigns, and brand development initiatives. My role spanned everything from day-to-day asset creation to high-level strategy, building a visual system that could scale globally while still feeling cohesive and consumer-friendly.

Challenge

The Alexa Skills ecosystem was rapidly growing, with new partners and capabilities launching every month. We needed a brand system that could flex across use cases—entertainment, productivity, smart home, and more—while still feeling unmistakably “Alexa.” We also had to balance internal Amazon teams, global partner agencies, and an ever-expanding library of media formats, all while keeping timelines lean and messaging consistent.
